Worldwide Water/Whale Wave Meditation

We’re Now Worldwide!

You’re invited:

The World Grace Foundation:
a “Heaven-on-Earth” project
www.WorldGraceFoundation.org

 in conjunction with

 Mary J. Getten: whale naturalist,
animal communicator and
author of Communicating with Orcas
www.marygetten.com

Along with groups from France, South Africa, South America and around the World

 Are holding their annual
Worldwide Water/Whale Wave Meditation:

A unified moment in time to focus on the restoration of the earth’s waters
while in meditation with the whales.

Positive changes have occurred each time we hold this space. Please join us and help the restoration hold longer and longer.

When: Sunday, May 25th, 2008, Concentrating the effort between 7 a.m. to 10 a.m in your time zone, creating a continuous wave of meditators across the earth. Even a few minutes of your love during this time can make a difference.

How: Choose any method (see ideas below) that you know works for you, or create your own, and thank you for adding your energy.

Where: Try to get to any natural body of water during this time (wells, rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, sea beaches) and offer your energy/blessing.

  • Reiki and other forms of energy healing of the water
  • Distant energy healing of the water
  • Tuning in to the frequency of the whales
  • Offering the lost mode of prayer* to the water by feeling it already pristine and restored to beautiful life (see below for more on this method)
  • Charging or blessing a tiny amount of clean distilled water and releasing this into an open natural body of water for a rippling effect across the planet (make sure this is allowed in your area)
  • Casting spells of love and healing
  • Working with the elementals
  • Offering healing prayers from your faith tradition
  • And/or calling forth angels to assist in our choice for the waters of heaven on earth.
  • Simply picking up even just one piece of trash on a beach, and properly disposing of it.

*To participate using the lost mode of prayer, be at peace with the one of many possibilities (pollution) playing itself out here right now, knowing the choice of purity is already in existence and can replace the current reality at any time. The current reality is not permanent, feel it as just a short-term drama with which we are experimenting, think of another more pristine and heaven-like possibility, and during at least part of those three specified hours, feel what it would feel like if it were here: The whales and dolphins sing with joy, their home is an underwater paradise of life and clarity, the beaches are lovely and beautiful because we live in a world where everyone, everywhere, takes loving care of the earth and its waters. We are a human family working together side by side with Gaia. What does it feel like to live in this world? Offer that feeling to the universe. By doing this, you have opened up a doorway in which the universe can ignite a new possibility. Then go about your day.

Co-coordinated with Mary J. Getten, www.MaryGetten.com, this is an Interfaith Crossroads event initiated by the World Grace Foundation www.WorldGraceFoundation.org

The future of religion: Stagnet or growing? Tribal or transcendent?

From a respected spiritual scholar, Andrew Furlong, in his article, “What Comes After Christianity?”

“Are we moving to an age when human beings will no longer think of themselves as Jews, Muslims, Christians, Buddhist, Hindus etc.? Perhaps people (whether they have a religious or a non-religious interpretation of life) will simply think of themselves as human beings and citizens of one global village who search for meaning and in doing so draw from a global resource of wisdom and spirituality to which religious and humanist traditions have contributed.”

His entire article is here:  http://www.tcpc.org/library/article.cfm?library_id=453

And this is from Eboo Patel and the Washington Post from an article entitled: Tribal Religion, Transcendent Religion

“All religions have both types of people - the tribal and the transcendent. The tribal type see in the particular narratives of their tradition a narrowing of concern, and therefore care only about the people who look like them, talk like them and pray like them. The transcendent see in the same particularity a universalizing of care, and therefore focus their energies on all people, especially groups most in need, regardless of creed. If tribal religion wins, it necessarily pits groups against one another based on identity, and it means that people like Christopher Hitchens and Sam Harris are right - religion will destroy everything. If transcendent faith wins, it opens the possibility for different identity groups to use their particular narratives to articulate a collective vision that includes everybody. If that isn't the future, there will be no future.”

Winter beach

Our latest Nature Temple took us to West Beach on a windy wintry Sunday where the surf was turbulent, churning up waves up to six feet, and the steal-like sky allowed a few rays of sun to hit the waves in a manner that seemed to illuminate them from the inside. Hearing the waves and bracing ourselves against the brisk wind seems to be like a form of exercise for the physical body and mind. It helps build its strength and confidence.

Developing connection to Oneness

We've been re-exploring the Sliva Method to help us exercise our ability to be in constant direct contact with divinity. Like an athlete using various methods to develop her physical ability, we're enjoying how this program has updated itself into a great method to help us develop our "divine connection muscle." As long as we don't take it as our ultimate God, but as one of several helpful tools, we've been happy with its results.

Autumn beach

Our last nature temple took us to the long beach and sand dunes of North Whidbey Island. Medication to the sound of waves is always soothing. Some walked barefoot in spite of chilly weather.

The summer beach

Our latest Nature Temple took us to one of our favorite sandy beaches on Fidalgo Island. The sun was warm, and we meditated to the sound of the gentle waves from the slowly rising tide. The children there reveled in the sand and the long ropes of kelp.

Ancient Celtic and Native American ministry

We spent a weekend singing, drumming, storytelling, and learning the deeper and subtle similarities and misconceptions of both the ancestral Celtic spirituality, including the differences between human created thought-form, the “energy” they came to call “fairy” and the soul race described in many of their folktales called “faerie,” and our island’s own native’s work with nature spirits called “Tathenee.” We learned of the prophesies and often misunderstood beliefs of both these traditions, which see the Christ as within each individual, and that all races would come together some day to learn from one another.

Island Native American Festival

Our local Native Americans are once again joining for a canoe journey to restore their family ties, promote healing, and re-establish the famous ancient potlatches... festivals gathering many tribes for peaceful sharing of gifts and communication among tribes.

Water/Whale Meditation numbers are growing

Our Worldwide Water/Whale Meditation Wave will be joined this Sunday by people from Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to those folks joining in. Some of these folks reported they see the sun first before the rest of the world that day, so they'll be setting the foundation.

Are holding the annual moment in time to focus on the restoration of the earth’s waters while in meditation with the whales.

This project started in the waters of USA's Pacific Northwest islands. Positive shifts in water quality and whale protection policies were noted after past meditations. And, Mary received direct communication from the whales for us to do more of this.

Please join us to help the momentum grow and continue!

When: Sunday, May 27th, 2007, Concentrating the effort between 7 a.m. to 10 a.m in your time zone, creating a continuous wave of meditators across the earth. Even a few minutes of your love during this time can make a large difference.

How: Choose any method (see ideas below) that you know works for you, or create your own, and thank you for adding your energy.

Where: Get to any natural body of water during this time (wells, rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, sea beaches) and offer your energy/blessing. If you are already worshipping indoors at that time, bring a small vessel of water to your service to bless quietly yourself during the service, or by the group, to be released as soon as possible after the service by yourself, the minister/group leader, or another volunteer into natural water channels.

  • Reiki and other forms of energy healing of the water
  • Distant energy healing of the water
  • Tuning in to the frequency of the whales
  • Offering the lost mode of prayer* (aka, The Secret) to the water by feeling it already pristine and restored to beautiful life (see below for more on this method)
  • Charging or blessing a tiny amount of clean distilled water and releasing this into an open natural body of water for a rippling effect across the planet (make sure this is allowed in your area)

Think of another more pristine and heaven-like possibility, and during at least part of those three specified hours, imagine and FEEL what it would be like if it were here -- The whales and dolphins sing with joy. Their home is an underwater paradise of life and filled with abundant food for all. The water is clean and clear, the beaches are lovely and beautiful because we live in a world where everyone, everywhere, takes loving care of the earth and its waters. We are a human family working together side by side with Gaia. What does it feel like to live in this world? Offer that feeling to the universe. By doing this, you have just 'placed an order,' or opened up a doorway in which the universe can ignite a new possibility. Be grateful that this possibility is becoming a reality. Then go about your day.

Christianity Evolves with Love

The World Grace Foundation, which celebrates the “inner Christ” and explores many forms of spirituality, is a church affiliate of The Center for Progressive Christianity, (TCPC.ORG) a national network of 370 affiliated congregations of many denominations. It will be celebrating the diversity of the world's religions on PLURALISM SUNDAY, May 27, 2007.  Churches are participating in the event in a variety of ways, exploring and sharing the spiritual riches of other faiths.  Churches are inviting people of other faiths to preach, including elements of other religious traditions in their worship services, and offering study groups and other events.  Their message:  one does not need to believe that Jesus is the only way to God in order to be a Christian, and that Christian faith is deepened by learning about other religions.

The World is evolving with love!

Tulip Fields and Native Americans

Our Easter Sunday took us to the beautiful tulip fields of the Skagit Valley. People from around the world gathered to see the beauty of new life when nature and humanity co-create together. Also, our annual gathering with local Native Americans for Earth Day is fast approaching. We gather to restore the earth in a variety of places under the guidance of the Natives, and then participate in song, dance, and Native storytelling. We continue, through our ministry, to guide individuals away from continued racism (that can come from both Caucasian and Native American sides) towards a new era of partnership and shared leadership.

Deep in the Woods

Our latest nature temple took us into a protected forest that surrounds a hidden lake with no automobile access. The silence and aroma of the deep woods was refreshing, and small hints of spring appeared as swollen buds on native shrubs and trees.
